JENNA "GRACE" MILANO
In a rural New Jersey town in the 80s, Jenna stormed
into the delivery room with her muse on full display: a healthy set
of vocal chords! Her father would pass away 18 months later but his
love of music would live on through a collection of 45s left behind.
Surrounding herself daily with the sounds of The Doors, Led Zeppelin,
Pink Floyd, Pat Benatar, Elton John and others, Jenna connected with
her lost father and discovered her own musicality at an early age. By 11,
Jenna was writing music. Soon after, she taught herself guitar, studied
dance, performed in school musicals and sang lead in local bands, all
fueled with an intense desire to hone her skills as a musician. Jenna’s
life goal became clear: fuse her multifaceted performing interests
into a single entertainment package.
In early 2000, Jenna moved to New York to pursue a full-time career
in the entertainment industry. Most notably, Jenna recorded a pop
song produced by BMG and written by individuals whose former
clients included Britney Spears and 'N Sync. As Jenna matured so
did her taste in music. Her influences began to include artists
like Linkin Park, Stabbing Westward, No Doubt and Evanescence
and hardcore bands like Killswitch Engage and Sevendust.
In 2004, she and guitarist Drew Leeds joined forces to create Tasting Grace.
Jenna’s hard work and perseverance paid off in April 2007 with the release
of their first musical venture, a 10-track project simply titled “Tasting Grace”,
written and produced entirely by the band. Jenna is proud to be hard at work
promoting “Alter Ego” and is grateful for all the support she has had from the countless
friends, fans, music professionals and everyone else on her path toward Tasting Grace.
